Join Us for a Good Cause
At Cookout For A Cause, we organize an annual event to raise funds for the Invisible Wounds Project. Whether you attend our fundraiser or donate online, every contribution helps make a difference. Together, we can bring light to mental health awareness and support those in need.
100% of the proceeds go to the Invisible Wounds Project, so we appreciate all your support.
Everyone behind the grill and running the bar or booths? 100% volunteers. The GrillFellas? They’re rockstars who’ve donated their time AND all the food because they’re all about backing the Invisible Wounds Project. Make sure to give them a big shoutout for all their hard work and generosity—it means a lot!
Things to know on the day of the event:
Ticket Booth (located at the entrance)
At the ticket booth, you can purchase your food wristbands ($20) or VIP wristbands (additional $10). If you buy a food wristband, you get to enjoy amazing grilled food and non-alcoholic slushies. Appetizers will be served from 12-3pm, main dishes from 3-6pm. Kids 10 and under are free.
If you buy a VIP wristband, you get amazing grilled food, non-alcoholic slushies, you get to spin the prize wheel AND you get complimentary bar beverages (draft beer and cocktails, 21+). Plus, 100% of the proceeds go to the Invisible Wounds Project!
If you love to win prizes (which we know you do), then you can also purchase game tickets ($2) at the Ticket Booth to play one of our two games: Holey Moley and the Duck Pond.
Raffle Booth (located in the shop)
At the raffle booth, you can purchase raffle tickets for $10 and win one (or many, if you’re super lucky) of our raffle prizes! We have so many wonderful businesses that donated this year and we know you’ll love the prizes! Some examples of prizes: Weber 36” Griddle, 1 years worth of Celsius Energy Drinks, Little Kid Electric UTV with North Shore Train Tickets, HP All-in-1 Computer, $300 Gas Gift Cards at Kwik Trip and more!
Bar (located in the shop)
We have non-alcoholic slushies at the bar that are included with both wristbands. If you purchase our VIP wristband, then our bar volunteers can get you complimentary bar beverages (draft beer and cocktails, age 21+, while supplies last). Please be sure to bring your ID.
Parking
We will have street parking. Be courteous of the neighbors and please do not park in the grass.
